Brief History of Cuba

Cuba is located to the South of Florida. Although Cuba is primarily thought of as one island Cuba is also comprised of several smaller islands. The city of Havana is the capital of Cuba and the largest city/province with over 3 million inhabitants. Cuban culture is rich in many aspects such as dance, language, music, and food. Many aspects of Cuban culture have been influenced by countries such as Spain and Africa. Although Cubans take pride in their unique cuisine, the U.S. embargo of Cuba has made it more difficult to attain imports to Cuba.
